Boxing is a contact sport where the objective of the game is to hit the opponent while trying to avoid being hit. Most boxercise classes are aimed at men and women of all ages and fitness standards. As no class involves the physical hitting of an opponent, it is a fun, challenging and safe workout.

Boxing circuit is an integral part of the training where by the short span of each individual exercise encourages athletes to give more effort to the exercise and give their optimum focus to the training. Beginners boxing involves shadow boxing, which is highly recommended by the boxing trainers. One may wonder what shadow boxing is. Shadowboxing is used mainly to prepare the muscles before the person training, engages in stronger physical activity. In shadowboxing, only one person is required to participate; the participant throws punches at no one in particular.

Boxing is a very dangerous sport and just like any other dangerous sports, It can cause pain, harm, serious injury and even may cause death to either opponent. It is a real contact sport in where the objective of the sport is to hit their opponent the most at the same time trying to avoid being hit. However, if beginner boxers are training at home or they want to ensure that they have quality gear, and then you should buy their own boxing gloves, mouthpiece, hand wraps, headgear and a pair of boxing shoes.

A beginner boxer must learn the basic, they must learn the jab. The jab is the most effective and important tool in boxing arsenal and everything else comes from this basic move. The jab sets up a boxer's other punches, it helps them learn boxing footwork and other simple fundamentals and it is very vital to learning how to box. Before a beginner boxer start flinging punches from all angles, they must learn how to throw a jab. Boxing is a nice and great workout. It builds muscular and cardiovascular endurance and strength as well as self-esteem.
